Iowa-based Kemin Health has won a GMP Certification from NSF International for its Des Moines facility, after NSF completed an audit recently and found it to be in compliance with Good manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
“Besides investing in the necessary studies to establish the safety and effectiveness of our ingredients, this certification provides assurance to customers and consumers that the ingredients we make meet strict quality standards,” said Andrew Martin, vice president of global marketing for Kemin Health.
The certification follows NSF/ANSI Standard 173, Section 8 and is based upon the Dietary Supplement CGMPs (21 CFR Part 111).
