The line, which is designed to reinforce the benefits of its BioAstin astaxanthin ingredient, will be mainly sold as finished products. However, Cyanotech president and CEO Andrew Jacobson told NutraIngredients-USA.com that it could also work with other supplement manufacturers to provide them with custom formulations.
The line currently includes five products, which were developed by Robert Corish, MD, a founding member of the American Society of Integrative Medical Practitioners.
As well as Cyanotech’s BioAstin, the products include a variety of active ingredients shown to benefit the specific condition targeted, including joint, heart, skin and eye health.
Cyanotech said it will shortly also be launching a line of products made with its spirulina ingredient.
