BI Nutraceuticals has extended its ingredients library with the addition of four new extracts for use in dietary supplements and functional foods and beverages.
The extensions are elderberry and mangosteen, which are water-soluble and suitable for use in beverage applications.
Rosemary and Yerba Mate extracts are being marketed on their clean taste for food and beverage applications.
More than 200 of the 600 ingredients currently offered by BI have been labeled GRAS by the Food and Drug Adminsutration (FDA) or the Flavors and Manufacturers Association (FEMA).
